Would anyone like to guess why my family will NOT be seeing it?

Porky is so cute! I can definitly see why your family will not be going to see the movie. I certainly wouldn't take my kiddle to see it if I had Porky in my backyard.
Maybe when the movie comes out on DVD or something huh?

Everything I have read is that the movie will be very good and family friendly, and we would likely go to it if I did not have a little girl who looks like Fern and a little pig that looks like Wilbur! We are raising Porky for pork.
On the other hand, maybe the movie won't be all that good for those of us trying to get back to the "butchering your own farm animals" type of homesteading life. Might it do for homesteaders what Bambi did for deer hunters in the eyes of the public?
I am glad for the good family movies that they come out with every once in a while.

From the mother of 3 little girlies who at any given moment may break into a song from the "orginal" Charlotte's web….. we're just not cut out to "grow our own bacon" LOL! We still have those days when "What kind of animal is this?" is asked at the dinner table!
