In this post I want to share some great shots of various scenes, mostly without people, that make up the Mountain Homeplace in Paintsville, Kentucky. Our friend Tracy Stephens took many of the following pictures on Thursday and Friday and posted them on Facebook. I think she has a very good eye for photography and the pictures were so good I had to borrow them. ( By the way, many of the pictures of the people I used in the previous post were taken by Tracy as well.) Just sit back and enjoy the scenery!
I liked seeing what the home place looked like on an early foggy morning.
First up is the McKenzie Cabin:
The little white church in the valley:
The old barn:
The corn crib and another out building:
The one-room school:
The sun came out with a gentle breeze and all three days were absolutely beautiful!
Inside the church:
Inside the school:
Inside the cabin:
Around the barn:

The guests had a great time!
I'll end with a few more shots of Timothy in action wearing his "Dan'l Boone" hat. He was a good boy all three days and had a blast!
