Is it possible in the 21st century to have an old fashioned, Christ honoring, homestead? We are creating such a homestead nestled in the hills of Eastern Kentucky while we learn more about the "old ways" of living! I will share my thoughts and the adventures of my family as we strive for a simpler, back to basics type of life for the glory of God!

I just thought I would report that we only got a dusting of snow at Pure Water Hollow from this particular Monday-Tuesday prediction of snow. I understand that other areas did get it, but we were spared.
ReplyDeleteSeveral eastern Kentucky school systems have missed this whole week of 12/6-12/10, but our local county school only missed Monday and Tuesday (6th & 7th).
The most we had here on the ground over the weekend was 3-4 inches. It has all melted by now (12/10) except large patches of snow laying around in the shade and hill tops.
More snow is predicted for later this weekend!
